WE DEMAND

ECONOMIC

FAIRNESS

3six71 Full Final.png
Economic Fairness is the ability for everyone to benefit from economic growth and to have an economy that serves the needs and interests of all people, not just the wealthy.

For decades we’ve undervalued our workforce in the United States through failed public policy and “trickle down” economics. Our families are suffering and we’re done being silent about it. We demand economic fairness for our families, for our friends, for our neighbors and for the world that we want to live in.

WHAT DOES ECONOMIC FAIRNESS

LOOK LIKE?

Abundance

Quality

Empowerment

INCREASED PAY FOR LOW &

MIDDLE INCOME WORKERS

Income inequality is steadily increasing due to slow wage growth. That slow wage growth takes away from low and middle wage workers give and gives it to those at the top. Raising wages for low and middle wage earners will raise living standards for all Americans.

  • 20% increase in pay for all low and middle income workers

  • Pay equity across gender, racial and disability lines

  • Workforce development training in growing industries

A QUALITY STANDARD OF LIVING

It is every person's right to have their basic human needs met at a standard that provides a quality of life which adds to the overall wellbeing of the individual.

  • Access to fresh foods

  • Livable housing that provides an intact structure and foundation; safely operating  electrical, plumbing, sanitary, heating & cooling; extermination of rodents and other vermin

  • Reliable means of transportation

  • Access to quality healthcare including treatment and prescriptions for both physical and mental health

  • Safe and healthy workplace conditions

  • Clean air, water and green spaces away from toxic environments

EMPOWERMENT TO MAKE

ECONOMIC DECISIONS

There are many barriers that prevent people from making the kind of economic decisions that will put themselves and their families in a better position. Every person has the right to define and determine their own path of success.

  • A strong public school system with properly funded schools that provide an inclusive robust curriculum and a safe motivational learning environment

  • Training and access to new technologies

  • Equal access to funding for small businesses and housing

  • Consumer protections and reform to credit reporting

  • Resources to access affordable childcare in a safe and nurturing environment

  • Fully funded social services such as food assistance, subsidized housing, health care, senior support, etc.

  • Paid sick days and paid family leave so people can care for themselves or family members without loss of income

I believe in a world with an even economic playing field where the economy works for all of us and not just the ultra rich.

I believe in economic fairness.

I pledge support for the 3SIX71 Economic Fairness Campaign to fight with Make It Work Nevada to achieve economic fairness in our state and in our nation.
